It's not a race...it's something called Danjiri. It's kind of like a parade...kind of...except it's really dangerous. (I don't think people die doing it anymore, though)Basically, these teams of 50(?) people pull these giant wooden floats.People hold ropes on the back to help steer it and guys ride inside playing music on drums and flutes...and a guy stands on top trying not to fall off.
