Cotopaxi, 19,347', May 2017 (from 1 T Scot)

Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves
The echo of a distant tide
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine

  1. Badass trip! Dislamer... We did not summit any peaks, but did get over 16,000 ft a few times to decend. Not an albatross, but we did get lucky enough to see a few Andean Condors with a wingspan of 10 ft.
